In the previous tutorial, we explained how to organise a new game/match. Each match allows users to sign up for it, which basically means "Yes, I'll be there. Count me in the game!"

Step 1

1

In the box, type something that identifies you on the console. For an Xbox 360 game that would be your gamertag. For a Nintendo DS game, that would be the game's Friend Code.

I entered a fake Friend Code for the Nintendo DS game Mario Kart DS, which you can see is the page title in the second screenshot.

Press Enter or click on the button titled "Count me in!" when you've done that.

Step 2

2

You will be asked to edit the page. For the part that says Yes|No, delete one of the options and Save the page.

The picture on the right shows the option 'no' deleted, so that only 'yes' remains. This means "Yes, I can play, see you then!"

Changing your mind
If at a later stage you change your mind, or something comes up that means you won't be able to join the game, you can edit the page and replace the 'yes' with a 'no'.

Step 3

After you have saved the page, you'll be presented with your response (which was "Yes"), and you'll also see a list of quick rundown of the other responses for that event.

To return to the event page, click on it's name in the breadcrumbs navigation at the top (look at the screenshot if you're not sure)

Step 4

Back on the event page, you'll see your newly-added response to the event. If at any time you want to edit your response to change your mind, you can do that by clicking on the link in the Response column (which says either 'Yes' in the screenshot)
